Misty Petrosino is an accomplished leader in the financial services industry and the President of The Weylman Center. She is currently a financial advisor, and over her extensive career, she has held roles as a Training Director, Director of Advisor Teaming, Director of Operations, and Director of Advisor Development, giving her a well-rounded perspective on what it takes to succeed in the industry.
Misty’s journey began during college as an intern at Prudential Securities, where she quickly mastered prospecting and sales techniques. Her success led her to New York Life, where she overcame early skepticism and proved her ability by becoming the only member of her training class to succeed long-term. She went on to earn prestigious honors, including Leaders Club and MDRT, before transitioning into leadership.
At MetLife, Misty took on key leadership roles, including opening and leading a successful scratch agency, training and mentoring advisors, and overseeing advisor teaming and operations. She later joined Consolidated Planning of Guardian as Director of Advisor Development, where she continued to guide advisors in building sustainable, client-focused practices while maintaining her own book of business.
For over 15 years, Misty has worked alongside industry legend Richard Weylman, helping advisors uncover target markets, refine prospecting methods, and elevate their practices through The Weylman Center’s proven strategies. In 2023, she became the successor to Richard Weylman and acquired The Weylman Center, where she now leads the evolution of the platform.
Under Misty’s leadership, The Weylman Center is expanding its resources to include enhanced training, greater diversity in teachings, and new tools such as event planning services, virtual assistants, and seminar/webinar support. She is passionate about empowering all advisors—especially women—to thrive in financial services.
A dedicated leader, mentor, and advocate, Misty continues to shape the future of advisor success while balancing life as a proud single mom of two kids and two Chihuahuas.
